FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to dentistry, and is intended for use in determining the cause of recurrent occlusion disorders by examining the trajectory of the lower jaw as a private parameter in manual diagnosis of various functional states of the locomotor system. Patient's face configuration is determined. Reference points are located on the face: in the centre of the nasal bridge, on the base of the nose and on the top of the chin. Face of the patient is photographed with maximally open mouth in three positions of head and body: reclining in a dental chair, sitting on a chair and standing. On the photographs, the median line of the face is drawn along the reference points through the centre of the nasal bridge, the base of the nose. Obtained straight line is continued down to face edge. Lower jaw deviation line is drawn through the reference points through the base of the nose and the top of the chin. Derived angle of mandibular deviation between the continuation of the middle line of the face and the line of deviation of the lower jaw determine a cause-effect relationship between the occlusion and the pathobiodynamic changes of the locomotor system. If the value of the deviation angle of the lower jaw in the patient's standing position is greater than the deviation angle in the positions of the reclining position in the dental chair and sitting on the chair, and if the angle of deviation of the lower jaw changes direction opposite to the median line of the face, the patient is diagnosed with an ascending dysfunction of locomotor system – violation of support function of foot, and treatment of occlusion disorders is recommended in combination with using individual insoles and manual balance of postural muscles. If the value of the mandibular deviation angle of the patient in sitting position on the chair is more than in the standing or reclining positions in the dental chair, or its direction relative to the median line of the face is changed, the patient is examined for descending dysfunction of the locomotor system – cranial disorders, and the treatment of the occlusion disorders combined with the manual therapy of the cranial head, muscles of the chewing complex, cervical, thoracic and pelvic spinal injuries is recommended. If the value of the angle of deviation of the lower jaw in the position of reclining in the dental chair is more than in the positions of the patient sitting on the stool and standing, then the patient is diagnosed with dysfunction due to early termination of the retention apparatus wearing and recommending its use in the oral cavity and performing a manual therapy for posture correction in cervical and thoracic departments.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine the causal relationship of these changes with disturbances of the motor-and-muscular apparatus by changing the movement trajectory of the lower jaw when opening the mouth and determining the therapeutic course.
