FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for performing a comprehensive examination of the patient when planning and conducting osteopathic functional dental treatment. History is collected, dental examination is conducted, impressions are made, plantography of the feet is performed in the standing position of the patient. 3D cephalometry is performed on the basis of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), as well as multispiral computed tomography (MSCT) of the head and neck, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the closed and open temporomandibular joint (TMJ), MRI of the spine, orthopantomogram (OPTG), the gait is recorded on video. Height, weight, and body mass index are taken as the anthropometric data. Spirometry is performed, muscle strength in the arms, HR, and BP are determined. Bioelectrical impedance analysis of body composition is conducted, determining the level of water, protein, visceral fat, and bone mass, the basal metabolic rate, and the biological age. The blood oxygen saturation, the levels of glucose, cholesterol, vitamin D, and B group vitamins are determined. The general physical fitness is evaluated: running, jumping rope, squats, push-ups, pull-ups, abdominal crunches, the balance and a handwriting sample are assessed. A Lüscher test is taken. After all the information is collected, it is compared with the reference values.
EFFECT: method raises the accuracy of examination of the patient when planning and conducting osteopathic functional dental treatment due to the comprehensive assessment of the most significant indicators.
