FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to clinched cold-rolled tapes. End of one tape and the beginning of the other tape are placed one above the other to form an overlapping connection and are connected to each other in the joint zone in several connecting points by means of a clinch connection without dissection. At that, for connection of tapes there created is at least 20 connecting points per meter of tape width.

EFFECT: higher quality of tape connection.
