FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to personalized diet therapy. Disclosed is a method for forming individual dietary recommendations based on DNA analysis, involving detection of causes of overweight and/or food intolerance by analyzing gene sections. For analysis, polymorphic sections of LCT, PPARG, ADRB2, FABP2, TCF7L2 genes are examined together and HLA-DQ haplotype is determined. Formation of a dietary plan and personalized menu are carried out depending on versions of detected polymorphism of genes associated with metabolic and/or immunological processes in the body.
EFFECT: invention provides effective treatment and prevention of overweight, food intolerance by selecting an adequate diet without using pharmacological preparations.
