METHOD FOR TREATING THE CASES OF OBESITY Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering unloading and ordinary diets alternating in a manner that one week has five unloading and 2 loading diet days with total treatment duration being equal to 12 weeks. The unloading day feeding is carried out with nutrient mixture of Doctor Slim administered as a 15 g large portion of the mixture dissolved in 200 ml of warm water instead of breakfast, dinner, before supper and when going to bed. The supper food is composed of low fat contents ingredients with total fat contents being not greater than 8-10 g. Raw or boiled vegetables except of potatoes are optionally given as addition to breakfast and dinner in the amount of 400 g. Commonly consumed products are given in ordinary diet days without flour and sweet food consumption being increased and with daily consumption of fat restricted to 35-40 g per day. The Doctor Slim mixture is given a portion twice a day before the dinner and supper. EFFECT: improved withstanding of treatment course; enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 2 tbl
