FIELD: heating equipment.
SUBSTANCE: heat-sensitive actuator uses a two-layer structure of material with shape memory, wherein each layer is thermally stimulated to vary shape at different temperatures, to create functionality of bidirectional actuation. Second layer with higher temperature of phase change leads to higher inherent force in its phase of high temperature than first layer, and, thus, can be used to restore actuator into its initial shape after deformation by first layer at lower temperature.
EFFECT: disclosed is a heat-sensitive actuator.
