FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to a surgical implant, in particular to an implant for tissue strengthening in hernioplasty of inguinal hernia, and/or abdominal hernia, or hernia of a postoperative scar, and to a method for its production. A surgical implant comprises a superficial flexible porous basic carcass having a first side and a second side, and at least one absorbable fragment of a color film attached to the main carcass. At least one absorbable color film fragment contains solid protrusions extending from the colored film fragment in the direction from the basic carcass. At least one color film fragment passes into the pores of the basic carcass, wherein protrusions extend from at least one color film fragment in both directions from the first side of the basic carcass and from the second side of the basic carcass. At least one color film fragment is made in the form of a structure that is asymmetric in the area of the basic carcass. According to the method for producing the above surgical implant, providing a mold comprising a plurality of cavities, each cavity having the shape of one projection; filling the mold with a liquid material which forms at least one color film fragment and ledges in accordance with the pattern forming the shape structure of at least one color film fragment; liquid material is solidified; attaching at least one color film fragment to the basic carcass, wherein projections are directed from the basic carcass; mold is removed.

EFFECT: inventions provide a surgical implant that reduces the need for sutures and can be used easily, quickly and safely during a surgical intervention.
