FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: surgical implant is adapted to perform tissue or muscle wall surface defect plastics and comprises a flexible base structure including a mesh defining the main portion, and at least one blade. The blade starts from the main portion and has a loose end and an end portion extending up to the loose end. The blade is folded back at its end portion and fixed to the main portion of the base structure to form a three-dimensional loop structure to fill the tissue or muscle wall defect, requiring plastics with an implant. The kit contains the above surgical implant and a separate surgical mesh configured to be placed over the tissue or muscle wall defect after surgical implant application. The method for manufacture of the said surgical implant comprises the steps of: provision of a flexible base structure comprising a mesh which forms the main portion and at least one blade, starting from the main portion and having a loose end, and an end portion extending up to the loose end, and folding back at least one blade end portion, fixing to the main portion of the base structure to form a three-dimensional loop structure.
