SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the parking space frame lines detection device and method. Method implemented by the parking space frame line detection device includes the steps on which the frame lines are detected when the value of the parameter used to detect the frame line falls within the first range of threshold values. Position of the undetected frame line is evaluated based on the position of the detected frame line. Range of threshold values used to detect a frame line in an estimated frame line position equal to a second threshold range wider than the first range of threshold values is specified.
EFFECT: enabling accurate detection of parking space frame line, regardless of resolution of captured image.
