SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assistance systems when driving for a vehicle. Method of determining interference is carried out by a controller configured to determine whether an object detected outside the vehicle is an obstacle for the vehicle in question based on a predetermined determination criterion. Method comprises determining whether or not detected object is by driver or passenger of considered vehicle, if detected object is not driver or passenger of considered vehicle, uses first determination criterion, and if detected object is driver or passenger of considered vehicle, determination, whether the detected object is interference for the considered vehicle, based on the second determination criterion, at which the detected object is less likely to be identified as interference for the considered vehicle.
EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle driving is achieved.
