SUBSTANCE: method includes the following: obtaining, from a set of proximity sensors (10), recognition information on a plurality of parked vehicles present in a group of parking frames, comprising a plurality of parking frames arranged nearby; selection of characteristic points (P1) of parked vehicles from recognition information; calculating distance (D) between characteristic points, which is distance between characteristic points (P1) next to each other; and calculating width of parking frames based on distance (D) between characteristic points.

EFFECT: method and device for facilitating parking are disclosed.
