FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to urology and oncology, and can be used in conductive prostate anesthesia before transrectal fusion biopsy. For this purpose, 10 ml of local anesthetic preparation – 1 % lidocaine solution is introduced under ultrasonic needle control along working channel of ultrasonic sensor. Lidocaine is introduced laterally from seminal vesicles in the formation zone of neurovascular bundles, into adipose tissue behind bladder on 3 and 9 o'clock of the standard dial, 5 ml on each side. Introduction is performed immediately before the puncture sampling of the biopsy material.

EFFECT: method provides adequate anesthesia during the biopsy, while allowing more accurate sampling of the biopsy material due to a more accurate alignment of the prostate image with a pathology area on the MRT and an ultrasonic image of the prostate.
