FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, urology, nephrology, and can be used for organ-preserving treatment of urothelial cancer of renal pelvis. That is ensured by introducing a chlorine E6 photosensitiser once in the form of an intravenous drop infusion for 30 minutes at dose of 1.0 mg/g for 3 hours before surgery. That is followed by fibrourethropyeloscopy. Volume of tumor involvement is estimated. Primary percutaneous approach to nephroscope 24 Ch is formed. Additionally, mini-nephroscope 5.5 Ch is installed. Tumors are removed with the help of a monopolar resectoscope and a laser apparatus. Session of an intraoperative photodynamic therapy is performed. For this purpose, an optical fiber is performed along the working path of the nephroscope and the cavity of the pelvis is irradiated with a laser with light exposure of radiation with wavelength of 662±3 nm in dose of 50–100 J/cm2.

EFFECT: method provides reducing sessions of intra-local interventions, reducing frequency and complications, reducing length of hospitalization, avoiding organ-carrying treatment – nephroureterectomy, programmed hemodialysis.
