FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for organ-preserving treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of the oral mucosa cT1N0M0 with a tumour invasion depth of up to 5 mm. Method involves a course of chemotherapy with cisplatin in amount of 100 mg/m2 2 hours before the photodynamic therapy, wherein a chlorine photosensitizer is administered in amount of 1 mg/kg of body weight 3 hours before the PDT. After the introduction of the photosensitizer, photodiagnostics is carried out using laser radiation with wavelength of 662 nm, laser radiation power of 2 mW, energy density of local laser radiation on surface of 1 J/cm2. That is followed by photodynamic therapy using laser radiation at wave length 662 nm, average power density 300 mW/cm2, energy density of one radiation session 300 J/cm2.
EFFECT: using the invention enables improving the quality of life of the patients after the radical treatment and prolonging the survival rate of the patients suffering oral mucosa cancer.
