FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a metal oxide electrode for potentiometric measurements, comprising a titanium base coated with titanium oxides formed by plasma-electrolytic oxidation. Electrode is characterized by that outer layer of coating with thickness of 1 mcm additionally contains up to 1 at% of stibium in form of oxides of Sb2O3 and Sb2O5. Invention also relates to a method of making an electrode.
EFFECT: high pH sensitivity of the electrode while increasing manufacturability and simplifying the method for production thereof.
