FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to forensic medicine, and can be used to establish presence of faeces in traces on material evidence during forensic biological examinations. Feces establishment method involves sampling of biomaterial with presumed presence of feces, its preparation for examination and establishment of feces presence by means of instrumental methods of analysis. Investigation is carried out with the help of ascending thin-layer chromatography, wherein the biomaterial with put on fecal matter is applied on a gauze tampon, dried at room temperature without access of sunlight, then placed into physiological solution and extracted for 24 hours at temperature 4 °C, drawing from the analysed object with a capillary is applied on a chromatographic plate with a layer of silica gel (PTSCh-AF-B) and butanol-distilled water-glacial acetic acid is eluted in a chromatographic chamber in a solvent system at ratio of 4:1:2, then the plate is dried in a thermostat at temperature of 50 °C for 2–3 minutes, exhibits Ehrlich's reagent (10 % solution of paradimethyl benzaldehyde in concentrated hydrochloric acid), presence of faeces is again dried in the thermostat at temperature of 50 °C for 2–3 minutes and when recording red bands at the level Rf in range of 0.55–0.6.

EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of faeces placement and reduction of examination time.
