FIELD: test.

SUBSTANCE: unit is intended for performance of tests for durability of ammunition supply to unauthorized thermal impact on it during fire behind the storage wall or near ammunition carrier. Installation of slow heating of ammunition is made in the form of housing filled with sand. In the centre of the body there is ammunition in the sand, along the inner walls of the body and on top there is a fire-resistant heat-insulating material; under the ammunition in the sand there is an electric heating element connected to a PID regulator placed outside the plant. Device is equipped with three thermocouples, one of which is installed on the outer surface of the ammunition, the second one is placed on the end of the explosive charge under the idle plug, the third one is placed in sand, the thermocouples are connected to the recorder. Fixation of ammunition reaction is also carried out by photo and video equipment.

EFFECT: installation allows safe testing of ammunition, recording not only temperature, but also surface of explosive composition.
