FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Device comprises a static audio frequency generator, at the output of which there is a "Point" output and connected to a power cable and having a "Dash" output, and a "Common" encoding unit which cyclically switches the phase output of the connected to the audio frequency audio generator between "Tire" and "Point" outputs, wherein the output of the static audio frequency generator is connected to clamp "Common" coding unit, and receiving equipment comprising an antenna, a selective amplifier and headphones, a static ultrasonic frequency generator, coding unit has first and second inputs, wherein phase output of static audio generator is connected to first input of coding unit, phase output of static ultrasonic frequency generator is connected to second input of coding unit, and its zero output is connected to clamp "Common" coding unit, receiving equipment additionally comprises first and second selectors, inputs of which are connected to antenna, frequency converter, second selective amplifier, wherein output of first selector is connected to input of first selective amplifier, output of second selector is connected to input of frequency converter, output of which is connected to input of second selective amplifier, and outputs of first and second selective amplifiers are connected to headphones.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of determination of single-phase phase closure points on power cable sheath.
