FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Multifocal lens has a refraction focal point and a diffraction structure built into the rear or front side of the lens and formed by the first and second diffraction structures, which are superimposed on each other. First diffraction structure differs from the second diffraction structure. Focal point of the first order of the first diffraction structure coincides with the focal point of the first order of the second diffraction structure. Method of producing a multifocal lens comprises steps of: a) providing a lens preform, b) calculating the diffraction structure of the superposition from the first diffraction structure and the second diffraction structure, and c) performing the diffraction structure of the overlay in the lens preform for making the multifocal lens.
EFFECT: use of this group of inventions will increase intensity for obtaining a color saturated and contrast image.
