FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in control systems of internal combustion engines. Disclosed are methods and systems for controlling frequency of cranking engine cranking by starter, fuel supply and start of supply of spark to increase fuel evaporation in conditions of cold start of engine. In one example, the method may comprise steps of: at engine cold start engine crankshaft is cranked by starter with frequency lower than rated frequency of scrolling with simultaneous fuel injection and by blocking supply of spark during a certain number of engine operating cycles and upon completion of said number of engine operating cycles, increasing the scrolling frequency to the rated value and starting the spark to start the engine.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of engine performance, fuel efficiency and toxicity.
