FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a catalytic product used to clean exhaust gas emissions from gasoline engines. A catalytic product for exhaust gas purification is described, containing: a substrate containing an inlet end, an outlet end and having an axial length L; the first catalytic region starting at the inlet end and extending to a distance that is less than the axial length L, and the first catalytic region contains the first palladium component; a second catalytic region starting at the outlet end and extending to a distance that is less than the axial length L, while the second catalytic region contains a second palladium component; a third catalytic region starting at the outlet end and extending to a distance that is less than the axial length L, and the third catalytic region contains a third rhodium component; and the third catalytic region is located above the second catalytic region; moreover, the first catalytic region occupies 30-70 percent of the axial length L; moreover, the second catalytic region occupies 30-70 percent of the axial length L and the third catalytic region occupies 50-95 percent of the axial length L.
EFFECT: creation of improved catalytic converters for certain types of engines capable of simultaneously improving the characteristics at the cold start stage and/or providing a better composition of exhaust gases at idle, providing improved catalytic efficiency.
