FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to means of functional diagnostics, neurosurgery and neurology, and can be used for calculation of blood flow velocity in vessels. Method for determining ischemic brain condition involves Doppler sonography of blood circulation, in which blood velocity and direction is measured on contralateral extra-intracranial peri-orbital cerebral arterial anastomoses by locating vessels at an angle with ultrasound transducers, taking into account anatomical features of the vascular arrangement, comparison of measured velocity and direction of blood flow in right anastomosis with measured rate and direction of blood flow in left anastomosis and with the norm, and if rates and directions of blood flow differ in right and left anastomoses and do not correspond to general norm or personal norm in specific patient, diagnosed presence of ischemia signs cerebrum, wherein velocity and direction of blood flow is measured at the level of angular and supra-block arteries passing near each orbit by locating the vessel at angle of 30–40°, and ultrasonic sensors-emitters are installed in a given position by means of fasteners located on the carrying element in the form of a holder for glasses and configured to adjust the position of sensors at the level of angular and supra-block arteries taking into account a personal patient. Brain ischemic condition determining device comprises two ultrasonic sensors-radiators with a measuring unit operating in Doppler mode, mounted on a carrying element, made in the form of a spectacle holder, electronic unit configured to measure the speed and direction of blood flow and including a signal generation circuit, a signal processing circuit, a signal transmission device and a display device, wherein the ultrasonic sensors-emitters are equipped with fixtures located on the bearing element, made with possibility of changing the position of radiating sensors for the angular and supra-block arteries taking into account a personal patient.
EFFECT: use of inventions enables reducing the duration of the study, providing more accurate diagnosis of the disease and providing mobility of measurements and diagnostics.
