FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: communication device and initial base station perform handover from initial base station to target base station when performing communication using aggregation of multiple component carriers. Communication device comprises a radio communication interface which performs radio communication over a communication channel formed by aggregation of a plurality of component carriers, including a first component carrier and a second component carrier; a circuit for receiving a first reference signal on a first component carrier and a second reference signal on a second component carrier; transmitting to first base station first report on measurement results and second report on measurement results, wherein the first measurement results report is based on the first reference signal, and the second measurement results report is based on the second reference signal; receiving a first instruction indicating to move the first component carrier from a source base station, wherein handover is allowed for the first component carrier.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of communication transmission procedure for each component carrier in radio communication using carrier aggregation.
