SUBSTANCE: present disclosure relates to feeding unit (1) for a beverage preparation device, in particular for preparation of espresso coffee. Feeding unit (1) comprises bowl-shaped housing (2) limiting inner chamber (20), wherein bowl-shaped housing (2) comprises side wall (21) and bottom wall (23). Feeding unit (1) also comprises inlet branch (3) for supplying beverage into inner chamber (20) and outlet opening (45), through which beverage can exit from inner chamber (20), at that outlet opening (45) is located at central section of bottom wall (23). In inner chamber (20) feeding unit (1) comprises separation wall (5), which surrounds outlet opening (45) and divides inner chamber (20) into peripheral area (26) and central area (28), in which there is outlet opening (45). Separation wall (5) comprises multiple through holes (55) to allow the beverage passage from peripheral area (26) to central area (28). Inlet branch (3) is intended for beverage supply into peripheral area (26) of inner chamber (20) in direction substantially tangential to side wall (21).
EFFECT: invention discloses a feeding unit for a beverage preparation device and a device comprising said feed unit.
