FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be used for laparoscopic plastics of large and giant hernia of esophageal opening of diaphragm with using implant. A double-layered solid implant is placed so that its upper part is located near the esophagus, the lateral sides are located near the diaphragm legs, and the lower part is placed at the base of diaphragm feet.
EFFECT: method enables avoiding the formation of coarse scar tissue, reducing the risk of recurrence.
