SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for laparoscopic plasty of esophageal opening of diaphragm for large and giant diaphragmatic hernias. Method of laparoscopic double-layer plasty of large and giant hernia of esophageal opening of diaphragm consists in using two-layer lightweight mesh biocarbon implant. At that, diaphragm feet are separated first. Then, two-layer lightweight mesh biocarbon implant is fixed to interrupted edges of diaphragm legs behind esophagus from abdominal side by interrupted sutures. Then, this implant is fully closed by stapling diaphragm feet above it.
EFFECT: invention provides reducing postoperative complications in laparoscopic plasty of large and giant hernia of esophageal opening of diaphragm.
