FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for analyzing behavior of substances in vitro, a device for analyzing behavior of molecules, as well as an agent for testing a substance in vitro. Method comprises providing a first liquid, a gel matrix and a second liquid, separating the first liquid and the gel matrix with a first semipermeable membrane, separation of matrix of gel and second liquid by second semipermeable membrane, introduction of substance into first fluid for its migration from first liquid through matrix gel into second liquid and determination of substance clearance from first fluid. Device comprises three chambers for a first fluid, a second liquid and a gel matrix, a first support for holding the first semi-permeable membrane, a second support for holding the second semipermeable membrane, where the shape and size of the first support are adapted to the shape and size of the retina. In vitro substance testing agent for obtaining data on stability or bioavailability of substance is said device.
EFFECT: invention provides realistic simulation of diffusion barriers for substances and diffusion of substance through said barriers.
