FIELD: means of ensuring safety; transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of transport safety and can be used for protection of vehicles lost control, as well as to reduce severity of collision of vehicles. Collision protection device comprises articulated link secured at vehicle frame in horizontal plane symmetrically to lengthwise axis. Side links are made in the form of stops and in the front part in the form of a convex arc, which are rounded to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, allowing the vehicle to rotate in the direction of the obstacle when the support interacts with the obstacle. Hinged spline is made in the form of H-shape. Side links with arc-shaped tips, which form vertical components, are made composite, consisting of two parts, with hinged connection in middle part in place of abutment to horizontal component of the multiliber chain. Front parts of side links are hinged in front part on vehicle frame in width not less than width of vehicle dimensions with possibility of rotation in horizontal plane. Rear parts of side links are hingedly fixed on rear part of frame by back parts with possibility of being moved along guides along vehicle frame and turning in horizontal plane. At the front parts of the side links between the hinged fastening of the latter to the vehicle frame and the horizontal component of the splitter there is a return mechanism. On the horizontal component of the tie bar coaxially to the longitudinal axis, with the possibility of movement in the horizontal plane in the longitudinal direction, a fixation mechanism is pivotally installed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in expansion of technological capabilities and improvement of safety of movement.
