FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used in auricle bowl plasty for auricular skin tumors. Transposition skin-fat flap is cut out of the skin of the auricle back surface. Flap base is located at the level of the lower edge of the cartilaginous defect of the anterior surface of the auricle of the auricle. After mobilizing the flap, its distal portion is folded by 180 degrees with the skin outward. That is followed by a transverse de-epidermisation of flap 1–2 mm wide at the level of the middle of the flap. Distal portion of the flap is transferred onto the anterior surface of the auricle and anchored along the perimeter of the defect.
EFFECT: method provides improvement of functional and aesthetic results of surgical treatment of new growths of external ear skin due to improved reliability of flap engraftment.
