SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in agriculture, namely in compilation of rations of agricultural calves. Method envisages introduction of a pharmaceutical dilution in the basic ration of 14-day calves in the form of a powder with moisture content of 5 % on the basis of an extract of Rhaponticum carthamoides 0.075 mg per 1 kg of calf live weight 1 time day for 14 days.
EFFECT: higher intensity of growth and preservation of newborn calves.
