SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle safety systems. System for obtaining priority before installation of vehicle speed limit by means of obtaining accelerator pedal priority. Vehicle includes accelerator pedal, memory for storage of pedal priority fixed tolerance and processor connected with pedal and memory. Processor is configured to determine a threshold value of obtaining priority using a set speed limit and a fixed tolerance for pedal priority obtaining, and enter the mode of obtaining priority when the pedal position exceeds the threshold value of obtaining priority.
EFFECT: improved vehicle safety.
