FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science, specifically to a method for production of a soft chewable veterinary pharmaceutical preparation for oral administration, containing at least one active pharmaceutical ingredient, which includes the following stages: a) mixing at least one active pharmaceutical ingredient with one or more dry and/or liquid ingredients comprising filler(s), flavoring additive(s) and sugar to obtain a pre-mix, b) heating the forming agent before melting, c) mixing the premix and forming agent together to produce a paste, d) loading the paste into a container associated with the rotary molding machine; and e) molding a paste of the pharmaceutical preparation in a rotary molding machine to obtain a soft chewable veterinary pharmaceutical preparation in the form of dosage forms.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain soft chewable tablets of the desired quality, which is very difficult or even impossible to obtain on an industrial scale on a conventional knock-out molding machine.
