FIELD: veterinary science; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a veterinary dosage form. Composition against canine ectoparasites contains carbamoyl benzamide phenyl isoxazoline (CBPI) of formula: 4-[5-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-5-trifluoromethyl-4,5-dihydroisoxazol-3-yl]-2-methyl-N-[(2,2,2-trifluoroethylcarbamoyl)methyl]benzamide and D,L-methionine (DLM). Ratio of the CBPI content to the tablet weight is adapted for the convenience of administering the veterinary pharmaceutical product to dogs and makes 7.5–35% with the weight of tablets from 1.5 to 4 g for animals weighing from 2 to 56 kg.
EFFECT: invention provides creation of a preparation with reduced toxic effect of CBPI active substance on animal organism, as well as change of ratio of active substance to tablet weight for convenience of its giving to dogs of different live weight.
