FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment, which determines heat resistance of product structures, in particular for simulation of aircraft outer surface heating. Heater for thermal tests of outer surface of aircraft compartment comprises carcass, heating elements and current-conducting buses. Frame is made in the form of a cylinder with independent sections insulated from each other, which imitate heating zones of the aircraft compartment, on the outer surface of which there are reflecting screens, and in its upper part a cover is installed. Heating elements are lamps, the bases of which are made in form of accordion. Cover is smoothly polished on the inner side and represents a cylindrical disk.

EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of results of thermal testing of aircraft of any configuration, while reducing the temperature of the compartment of the aircraft during the test without using additional cooling means.
