FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital applied photogrammetry of close objects and can be used, in particular, for automated mapping of the ice surface during testing of sea-going vessels and structures in ice basins. Method of photogrammetry of ice field in ice basin includes successive formation of structured illumination of ice field, recording of images of ice field with distorted structured illumination and calculation of distortion factor of structured illumination. Structured illumination is formed in the form of parallel light lines by means of at least two laser levels, which are rigidly fixed on the support installed above the ice field with possibility of movement along the pool. Perspective distortions of the structured illumination are registered by means of a photographic fixation device fixed with possibility of movement over the ice field. To obtain different parts of the card, photofixation of the structured illumination is performed by a photographic fixation device, the choice of the location of which ensures availability of at least two light lines and the edge of the support on each image. Light lines arrangement on the obtained images is determined by a digital method. Distortion factor value is calculated in form of angle α deviation of the optical axis of the photographic fixing device from the horizontal. Images are digitally transformed depending on angle α and converting the adjacent transformed images to obtain a full map of the ice field.

EFFECT: simple method of mapping an ice field in an enclosed basin with shorter time for its implementation and high accuracy of the obtained map.
