SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used in marine seismic surveys. Disclosed are methods, systems and devices intended for reconnaissance marine seismic surveys. In one example of a method of recording marine seismic survey data, a plurality of seismic braids (110) are towed behind recording vessel (105), wherein a plurality of seismic braces defines shooting strip (120). Independent source (130) is towed by independent source vessel (125) above one or more of towed seismic braids (110). At that, vessel with independent source moves forward and backward between left side of navigation area of source and right side of navigation area of source so that to cross at least part of shooting strip, when vessel with independent source moves in same common direction as recording vessel.
EFFECT: technical result is high information content of the received data.
