FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology. For combined laser surgical treatment of local retinal detachment as a result of valvular rupture, the first stage involves the YAG-laser retinotomy of the valve base with its complete excision. YAG-laser retinotomy is carried out on a laser apparatus "Eneh Ultra Q Reflex" with wavelength of 1064 nm, pulse duration of 4 ns, spot diameter in focus of 8 mcm and pulse energy of 4.0–6.0 mJ. Second step under the control of ophthalmoscopy with sclerocompression is performed cryoretinopexy by applying the cryoapplicator on the sclera in the projection of the retinal rupture area for 5 seconds. That is followed by tamponade of vitreal cavity with gas-air mixture through scleral puncture in 4 mm from limb.

EFFECT: method reduces total length of treatment, accelerates postoperative rehabilitation of patients, and also prevents recurrences of retinal detachment.
