FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used to treat local retinal detachment due to valvular rupture. First stage is performed by the YAG-laser retinotomy of the valve base with its complete clipping. YAG laser retinotomy is performed on an Ellex Ultra Q Reflex laser device with a wavelength of 1,064 nm, a pulse duration of 4 ns, a spot diameter of 8 mcm in focus, and a pulse energy of 4.0–6.0 mJ. Second step is to tamponade the zones of detachment with the gas-air mixture through the puncture of the sclera in 4 mm from the limb. After 1–3 days, the third stage is performed in the form of barrier laser coagulation of the retina along the edge of the rupture to obtain L’Esperance II-III coagulates, depending on the size of the rupture. Coagulants are applied in 4–6 rows with the following radiation parameters: wavelength 532 nm, power 0.1–0.3 W, spot diameter in focus 200 mcm, pulse duration 0.05-0.1 s.
EFFECT: method provides a reduction in trauma and a decrease in the volume of intraocular surgery provided that the traction component in the area of the retinal rupture is fully eliminated, and that the detached retina fully adheres to the back wall of the eye.
