SUBSTANCE: in the method of laser treatment of valve retinal rupture with vitreoretinal adhesion over its entire area, which includes barrier laser coagulation of the retina around the rupture by neodymium YAG laser radiation with a wavelength of 532 nm, power of 0.1-0.3 W, focus spot diameter of 100-200 um, with a pulse duration of 0.05-0.1, according to the invention, after complete coagulates pigmentation, single-stage YAG laser retinotomy of the valve base is performed with its complete clipping, shifting thereby the valve rupture to gap rupture, wherein YAG-laser retinotomy is performed on a "Ellex Ultra Q Reflex - Nd: YAG" laser system with wavelength of 1064 nm, focus spot diameter of 8 microns, pulse duration of 4 ns and pulse energy of 5.3 mJ.

EFFECT: method allows to completely eliminate the traction component, prevent rupture progression and development of complications, such as rheumatogenic retinal detachment and hemophthalmia.
