FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, and can be used to perform posterior layer-penetrating keratoplasty in bullous keratopathy. To do this, a donor corneal transplant and a bed in the cornea of the recipient are formed, with removal of the stromal layers, Descemet’s membrane, endothelium. Implantation of the transplant is conducted. Donor graft and the bed in the cornea of the recipient are formed by radiation from a femtosecond laser. Full-layer donor graft is used for implantation.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the degree of transparency of the cornea in the postoperative period, prevention of scarring processes in the interface, and reduction of the postoperative rehabilitation period.
