FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to copolymers of isoolefin and multi-olefin and methods for production thereof, comprising a tetrafluorinated propene diluent. Method of producing a copolymer involves polymerisation of at least one isoolefin monomer with at least one multiolefin monomer in the presence of at least one Lewis acid and at least one initiator in a diluent containing tetrafluorinated propene.
EFFECT: technical result is the preparation of copolymers with low levels of cyclic oligomers, low levels of isoprenoid structures and/or high levels of isoprenoid.
