FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: in method of applying marking plates (40) to plurality of electric devices (2) arranged on support bus (6), which have each marking field (20) intended for attachment of labeling label (40) for inscriptions application, electric devices (2) are located next to each other in longitudinal direction (X) with formation of unit (1) so that marking fields (20) of electric devices (2) adjoin each other in longitudinal direction (X) and form solid, passing in longitudinal direction (X) a row. Marking strip (4) having plurality of electric devices (2), which are matched with marking fields (20), intended for application of inscriptions with the help of laser marking device (5) of marking plates (40), is fixed along the row of electric devices (2), and marking plates (40) are disconnected so that at marking field (20) of each electric device (2) there is at least one marking plate (40).

EFFECT: method has been developed for applying marking plates to electrical devices, which enables simple, automated application of inscriptions on electrical devices, for example, terminal blocks.
