FIELD: data input devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of inputting printed data for sealing a sealed object using a printer, wherein the printer has a housing with a printing chamber made inside the housing, a printing device, a receiving device for serving to place a printable object of the replaceable magazine to be printed, a data processing and control unit, a storage device and an input and display unit. Using the method, input of printed data for sealing of the sealed object is especially simple due to the fact that the magazine with the sealed object to be sealed is inserted into the receiving device, wherein the receiving device is in the loading and unloading position outside the printing chamber, the receiving device is inserted into the printing chamber, wherein at least one located in the housing optical sensor detects the identifier located on the printed object and/or at least one optical sensor located in the housing registers the identifier located on the magazine, by means of control and data processing unit based on detected by identifier registered identifier inserted sealed object from several stored in storage masks input selection input mask or by the data control and processing unit based on the inserted identifier registered by the sensor, from the input masks stored in the memory, selected are separate input masks, selected input mask or selected input masks are displayed on input and display unit.
EFFECT: method of inputting printed data for sealing a sealed object using a printer and a printer for realizing said method are disclosed.
