FIELD: printing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of securing a printing process using a printer, wherein the printer has a housing with a print chamber inside the housing, a printing device, a reception device for an employee to place a sealed removable magazine object to be sealed, a data control and processing unit and a storage device. Method comprises the following steps: a magazine with a sealed object to be sealed is inserted into a receiving device, wherein receiving device is in loading and unloading position outside printing chamber, receiving device is introduced into printing chamber, wherein the optical sensor located in the housing registers the identifier located on the store, in the control and data processing unit, comparing the registered by the identifier sensor of the inserted magazine with the identifier stored in the storage device for the sealed magazine object allowed for sealing to be sealed, if registered by sensor identifier of inserted magazine does not match with saved in storage identifier for allowable store, then error message is output.

EFFECT: method of securing a printing process using a printer and a printer for realizing said method are disclosed.
