FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of controlling current supply in a vehicle. Providing a contact spiral chain having a predetermined current limit value and including a fixed portion, determining steering wheel column and rotary part defining steering wheel made with possibility to rotate relative to steering wheel column. Contact spiral circuit is configured to transmit current to a plurality of electrical elements, including a steering wheel heating device and an active steering system. System with low priority and system with high priority included in said electrical elements are determined. Current is measured through contact spiral circuit to determine exceeding preset current limit value. System with low priority is disconnected at least in response to detection of preset current limit exceeded. Steering wheel assembly and vehicle are also disclosed.
EFFECT: enabling efficient use of all subsystems.
