FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely to means of measuring angular displacements. Fibre-optic sensor of rotation angle consists of microcontroller, laser diode, optical power divider, photodetector, two sections of optical fibre coiled into semi-rings and optically connecting the laser diode with photodetectors. Optical power divider divides in equal respects the signal of the laser diode into two segments of the optical fibre. At that, to eliminate ambiguity of the measurement result, pieces of optical fibre have different radii.

EFFECT: technical result is wider range of measured angular displacements and resolution of sensor.
