VEGETABLE OIL OXIDATION CONTROL METHOD IN DRYING OIL PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N27/06

Abstract RU 2695956 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of properties and characteristics of organic and inorganic substances and liquids by electrophysical methods, in particular to operational methods of control of oxidation of vegetable oil in production of varnish. According to the invention the method consists in the fact that in the vegetable oil oxidation in the drying oil production the active resistance Rp oxidised oil. During oxidation, in parallel with measurements on the instrument with interval of 0.5 hours, samples of oxidised oil are collected and laboratory analysis of viscosity determination is carried out in accordance with regulations, wherein at the moment of sampling, the values of active resistance Rp oxidised oil, and then plotting the active resistance Rp of viscosity η and further obtained dependence for controlling oxidation of oil in production. Achieving active resistance Rp such value, at which value of viscosity η oxidised oil reaches the value specified by the regulations, serves as a signal for end of the vegetable oil oxidation process in the drying oil production.

EFFECT: invention enables to create a safe, low-time, continuous method for controlling oxidation of vegetable oil in the production of drying oil, by using direct dependence of viscosity of reaction mass on the value of its electrophysical parameters.
