FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for the continuous fluid viscosity measurement in various technological processes, in particular in the process of the drying oil, pentaphtol and glyptal varnishes and resins production control. Claimed group of inventions includes a method of the reaction mass viscosity continuous measuring and device for its implementation. At that, in the process of the reaction mass having a high operating temperature (for example, 245–250 °C) continuous viscosity measuring, reaction mass is continuously withdrawn from the reactor, cooled down to the optimum (for example, 100 °C), pumped through the measuring chamber with a built-in diaphragm, at that, carrying out the continuous reaction mass pressure value measuring before the diaphragm and determining the working mass viscosity by the pressure value.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of the reaction mass viscosity measuring, having a high temperature in the reactor, in a continuous manner, with the tested liquid minimum amount, without interfering with the process unit operation, wherein the investigated working mass temperature is adjusted to the optimum immediately before the measurement, which allows to measure viscosity with high accuracy, enabling reliable control over the technological process.
