FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production, in particular, to casting by melted models, and can be used in machine building. Method of bimetallic casting by casting on molten models includes fabrication of frame, obtaining wax-like model with frame, obtaining a non-detachable refractory shell mold on a model with a carcass, melting a wax-shaped model from a mold, pouring a metal with a melting point lower than the melting point of the carcass material. At that, frame is made with dimensions smaller than sizes of obtained cast, frame is installed in mold, which cavity corresponds to sizes and configuration of casting, wax-shaped model powder is dosed into the mold, which is pressed onto the carcass at pressure of 0.1–5 MPa, and the obtained wax-like model is held in the mold for at least 1 minute.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain bimetallic castings of high dimensional-geometrical precision by casting on molten models.
