FIELD: foundry production.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a fire-resistant shell mold on a finished aqueous binder using water-soluble salt models for casting using soluble models includes applying a coating to the surface of water-soluble salt models, ensuring wetting of the model surface and preventing the model from dissolving in an aqueous facing suspension. The surfaces of the model are covered with a uniform layer of insoluble wax mass, used to obtain lost wax models, 0.1-0.2 mm thick. Use a solution of wax model mass in a volume of 3-10 g per 100 ml of solvent, which is rubber solvent. Each layer is dried at room temperature until the solvent has completely evaporated.

EFFECT: high geometric accuracy and quality of the forming surface are ensured.
